Youre Out of this World!

Had a great Valentines day with my babe! Went out to eat, watched New York, I Love You & Maria Full of Grace, and hung out all night. Love you, Sweetie!

What a cutie with nice teefies.

I named her Patty; after Patty Mayonnaise. Haha
Danny wrote me a poem. It's the little things like this that makes me love him so much!
Hahaha! Brace face!

Love is a Many-Splendored Thing

Happy Valentines Day! I hope everyone is having a good jump start to their day so far. I am well aware that Valentines day is just a Hallmark day but it's a nice excuse to be with someone you love. We should all spend today with someone special; whether it be with friends, family, and/or lovers . I mean, it shouldn't be the only day we take the time out to say things like, "i love you" or "be mine forever" to the people we care about but you get the idea..Haha

I started the day by going to church with Xuan and Danny this morning. Still pretty tired from our outting last night though. Tonight, Danny and I are having dinner at Chimayo (I think that's what it's called?) in HB. We don't really have plans afterwards, but we'll see where the rest of the night takes us!

OLD photo but just look at all the LOVE that's going on here! Haha

Goodwill= Good finds!

Went to this big Goodwill store off of Fairview last night with Xuan and she donated a big bag of clothes and stuff. I found some awesome pieces for dirt cheap! Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to explore around the store because they were closing but the items I did find, I'm happy with! =) I want to go again soon. It's probably one of the biggest Goodwill stores I've been to that actually carry nice things and not just junk. Haha
Brown leather loafer $5.99

Still in great condition!

*New* black leather purse w/ polka dot detailing $4.99
Blue leather shoulder wallet/bag I got for mom $1.99

Spirit of the West

Danny and I have been working on this puzzle for a while now; along with this other larger puzzle we've been doing at the same time (equally unsuccessful, as of now). This puzzle is a 1000 piece puzzle that is almost impossible to do! The shape and color of the pieces are so similar that it takes hours just to get a few pieces connected. I want to finish it SOON but it seems nearly unattainable at this point! It's currently laying in the middle of my bedroom floor and people are always stepping on it when they come in; and the baby is always trying to get to it. I wouldn't be suprise if we're missing a piece or two. =/ We need some help! :O

This is what it's suppose to look like.

and this is where we're at after about a month or so. Feeling a little defeated much? YES!

Man vs Food

Food won, again. Specifically, the Special #2 Ramen! Hector tried the challenge once before but was not successful. Second time around, Chad and Danny decides to face the bowl of horror with Hector. Let's just say it was NOT a pretty sight. Sometimes, you just have to know your role and let it go...just let it go.

Whethered or Not!

This past Saturday we went to Xuan's opening art show, "Whethered or Not," held at the Exit gallery at CSUF. Her and her classmates set up a gallery of just their work and they did a good job. The arts that were displayed were really cool. I particularly liked Charlie's work. It was bright and real detailed. Kind of cartoony, for a lack of better word. I liked it a lot. At the show, they provided music, food and drink and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves. I know I did! When I was there, I was thinking about how I used to really be into art like how Xuan is now. I used to paint and draw because it was something I enjoyed doing and take pleasure in. Ever since I started CSULB, my focus and priorities steered elsewhere. Art has now become more of a leisure for me, I guess. I still enjoy to pick up a pencil now and then when I get the chance to. Anyways, these guys put a lot of work in this show and it was an awesome success! =D

After the show, we went to downtown Fullerton. =]
